The Extension Video Producers group (EVP) was created in 1987 as a working group of the Communications Committee of the Southern Program Leadership Committee. The initial group of 13 state institutions has since expanded to 23 states and includes six members from the North Central and Western regions.

This is done by keeping participants abreast of industry technological developments, providing practical learning opportunities, sharing valuable video programs and B-roll materials, and the development of a narrator's resource list. These activities save our respective administrations thousands of dollars each year.
As video communication specialists serving on dynamic staffs, we must be ready to respond to changing technologies and organizational needs. With the continued support of our Extension administrators, we will make every effort to keep our communication departments in the forefront of video technology services, while striving to maximize limited budgets.
